2011 was a banner year of programming at Center Portion, featuring the Mayoral Tutorial, a screening of indie film, Waste Land, and the Holiday concerts with The Crooked Mouth, just to name a few. We are still putting together this year's schedule, and look forward to hosting original writing and performance in our Logan Square space.

Jamie O'Reilly Trio

I'll never forget you



In a co-production with Center Portion, celebrated musicians The Jamie O'Reilly Trio presented I'll Never Forget You, a cabaret evening. The Trio stepped away from their folk repertoire for this show, performing the ‘great’ songs - lush serenades, fiery tangos, gypsy ballads and love-songs from the American songbook, and the European cabaret. Signature tunes from the Michael Smith catalog, (including songs from Smith/O’Reilly’s award-winning musical revue, Hello Dali, completed the program.
