Thank you to the over 200 people who visited Center Portion this past weekend from the Logan Square neighborhood. We had a great time meeting everyone and sharing some fabulous artwork, performance and film. Looking forward to seeing more of you at future events.
New Orleans native, Chuck Perkins, known on the poetry scene for his dynamic performance style and edgy, political poetry, debuted his CD, "Bucket of Questions," a spoken word collection of his poems, at Center Portion in June 2000.
